I don’t rate books 5 stars unless the ending really satisfies me.
The start made me a bit unsure, not for any particular reason I just didn’t know if I would enjoy it. I most definitely did.
I liked that the main character was a strong female who didn’t just weaken over a boy, the love was built over time. I also loved that the main emphasis on the story wasn’t about just romantic love, it was also father and daughter, friendship etc. and this still wasn’t the main theme which I prefer because romance doesn’t appeal to me. That being said, there were some cringey parts when Magnus would call Andi his ‘little (something)” but I tried to over look that.
The main reason was that I absolutely loved the ending and it wasn’t a plot twist but I also didn’t expect it and it really satisfied me because it wasn’t just a happy ending that was wrapped up quickly.
