The Beholder is... A story about a girl who gets kicked out of her providence (?) by her godmother because her godmother wants her soon to be born child to inherit Potomac, instead of her husband's original kid. The godmother seems to have money, so no idea why she went for the low hanging fruit of Potomac but I will play along. Anyways, so Selah gets pushed off the nest and told to get herself engaged, or basically die trying. And on we go on an adventure!
