Poor Deer by Claire Oshetsky

3.5

I picked this up on a whim as I was struggling on my current reads. It left me feeling hollow.

This was the first book I couldn’t put down in what’s been more than two months, and towards the end I was begging for there to be more pages when I knew there wouldn’t be. I don’t mind open-ended novels but for this one, I really hoped to receive something concrete, something sure about Margaret’s future before the book ended. But in my understanding, it would be up to the reader. A maybe, a maybe not.
