The perfect book doesn’t exist…but this is the closest thing to it. This is a book that gives to the romance audience as well as those who may not read much in the genre. This is one of the few books where I love everything about it: the main characters, side characters, time period, pacing, dialogue, and much more. This is second chance romance done well. If you’re a person who doesn’t read much romance or it’s not the genre you gravitate to, you’ll enjoy this book.
Eva and Shane…I mean…vulnerable, hot, and complex. Ty broke my heart. There are so many things to take from this book. Setting the romance aside, the honesty of self-doubt, belonging, and not going hard on yourself resonated with me so much.
