Her Name in the Sky is a YA sapphic romance that deals with some heavy topics. Both girls are struggling with internalized homophobia as a result of growing up within a religious community that largely does not support LGBT+ people. I didn't quite connect with this book because religion is a huge part of the story. I do think it was written well and would consider reading from Quindlen again.
