This was incredibly engaging, and the dual mysteries of what happened to Bear and what happened to Barbara are woven together well. Where I found it lacking was in the reveals at the end - one was done well, the other felt like an afterthought. I also found the short chapters with quick POV switches interrupted the flow a bit, especially toward the end.
