Where the Sun Never Sets by Stuti Changle

4.0

Iti is a young girl working in Gurugram as a tagline writer for advertisements. But lockdown hits and she is forced to move to her hometown, Mussorie.

When she reaches Mussorie, she comes across her diary from the past. And then the memories of her passed-away parents start coming up in her mind. She gets very emotional and also thinks of her ex-boyfriend. But with time, change is a must and we have to live with that.

Her boss asks her to write a script for a movie, and she gets very excited to dive into the work. But when she submits the script, her boss rejects it and asks her to write it based on some real events. Now, will she be able to succeed in fulfilling the demands of her boss? Do check out the book to know what happens.

The book is written in the form of diary entries, which I enjoyed reading the most. Next coming up to the title and the cover, they are so good, I was intrigued to read the book just because of the cover. The author portrayed the tough time we all faced during the lockdown and the emotional status of people during it.

The concept of this book is very refreshing and different. The book makes you understand the word self-acceptance, through Iti’s story. The narration is very engaging and motivating. The book ends with a happy epilogue that made me feel so good.
