Daddy's Girl
by Demi Donovan, Isabella Starling
Be forewarned - this book has some seriously disturbing scenes. I like dark and twisted, but this went beyond that. I never warmed up to Law - even when he finally does the right thing (somewhat), he was still the same monster about it. I could completely understand how Lily reacted, considering her circumstances. Most of all, I don't consider this a romance, even with the ending. I didn't see love from Law, I saw obsession and Lily was just a young girl who wanted to hold on to the first real attention (albeit negative) that she had seen in years. The book is well-written, but I felt nothing but contempt for Law and pity for Lily. In fact, I spent the whole book hoping that he would get what he deserved and Lily would get out.
