This just is fine. The premise is decent enough, but the story and the characters and the writing is all just so cliche and not in a self-aware, cheeky way. It's also just exceptionally dramatic in a way I don't care for, but maybe I just don't have any interest in hurt/comfort romances.
I did appreciate how sex positive this was though, and that aspect is all very well done. And I do appreciate that you can very much tell this is written by a gay man.
But this just wasn't for me, and I don't think I was ever all that interested after the first couple chapters.
