 I didnt really enjoy it to be honest. I liked the writing and appreciated the humor, but everything else fell flat. The characters started out great and interesting, but

all of them falling so head over heel in love, until their death felt so illogical

. Maybe Im just not a romantic. Also, as good as the prose was, it doesnt justify a max 300page story to be a 600page book. Excessive descriptions and long tangents just killed it, whenever it was picking up steam. At the end I was just wishing everybody (but Djali) dies and we get it over with. 
The 2.75 is because I really enjoyed the prose and the vibe
