Read if:
- You're looking for a murder mystery sprinkled with underground magic societies and wrapped up in a dark academia blanket
I really enjoyed this book. The themes were right up my alley (love some dark academia/occult vibes) and the pacing perfectly kept my attention. Investigating the murder mystery was so entertaining and unfolded perfectly alongside the unravelling of Alex's background. I don't feel like this is a book that will stick with me for too long, but the story and world is interesting enough to keep me in this world for the next book.
