At first, when I started this book, I wasn’t expecting much because the writing felt superficial and not deep enough, but as I kept reading, I found the characters to be interesting and have depth to them. I like how Christian’s character was able to evolve and acknowledge his feelings for Natalia but in a normal way. a lot of times in books the main character goes from being so cold and not loving anyone to being head over heels, and that just sounds so unrealistic, but Christian’s development throughout the story is realistic and shows how his feelings developed for his wife. Additionally this book is Hella spicy and I liked that although there was a ton of spice the whole plot wasn’t just smut and there was a balance between the two.
