Swamp Spies by Jana DeLeon
4.0
What I love about Fortune is that she can do anything she sets her mind to, she is THAT girl! The confidence to sneak into another country where you are wanted dead or alive, save her beau with her bestie and her dad as back up, and then show up a General, for not doing his job, all with a smile takes some serious balls!
I love that she has the skill to do all these things, the experience, and the friends with high connections, that she's acquired because she helps people without strings attached, and people actually do show up for you when you've done the same for them.
This book felt like two in one, the first being the issues with Carter's rescue were very separate from the mystery-of-the-week. I get the feeling this is setting up to be as big a threat as the Ahmad set-up we had at the beginning of this series.
Can't wait!
