My Fairyloot edition came and I was sold with the why choose / reverse harem branding, two maps with a retelling of beauty and the beast. I really wanted to enjoy it. Pacific NW rainy small towns with bookshop owners usually are a win win for me. I didn't find that in this one unfortunately.

The princes in the book were the most interesting and why I hung on through to the end. Rosalina was desperate for attention and came off whiny and unwittingly unsure of what she wants. Is it a human hunter who carved his name into her arm to claim her or the attention of 3 fae princes? It really shouldn't have been a hard decision, no matter who you are.

I kept wanting to skim ahead and it really threw off my pacing. The multiple POV's were fine but a bit distracting. Most of the book was told from Rosalina's perspective, with a few from each prince. The ones from the princes really felt like a sneak peak into where the spice was happening, rather than plot progression.

Plus for the book was that I finished the book in 2 days.  After I made it 50% in I was compelled to finish. I did question myself every so often though.
