Surviving Death: Evidence of the Afterlife
by Leslie Kean
Hmm. At the beginning of this book I was really enthralled. Because I have the honor of working with patients at the end of their life or as they are actively dying, I can attest to some of the commentary in this book. I've heard what patients and families say and those same sentiments were echoed in this book.
But, eventually I got really tired of all the, "Skeptics may say..." "A non-believer may wonder..." "It could be argued..." etc. I understand that the authors were trying to demonstrate proof of their stories and experiences. But a) the book would've been shorter without all of those statements and b) someone who is reading this book probably already has certain beliefs. It was just very redundant after a while.
