I adored this book. What a moving story. As a bonus, I love anything with courtroom drama/testimony and this one was great. So much emotion here - as a parent, and a sister to a brother with Asperger's, this one hit very close to home. I felt a wide range of emotions as I read... this would make a great discussion for book clubs. The choices we make as people (and as parents), and the consequences those decisions have.... this was an extremely thought-provoking novel. Definitely a lot of "What would I do in X scenario?" moments for me.
Anytime a book can make me feel something, it stands out among the rest. I was in the dark the whole time, riveted as I tried to figure out exactly what happened. This was a very powerful novel. I would absolutely recommend that you read this one.
