Two Wrongs Make a Right by Chloe Liese

3.0

This one started reeeeeeally slow. I actually picked it up and put it down three times in the first 50 or so pages before finally just powering through to finish it.
After getting through the set up, it did turn out to be very good and I’m glad I read it. It was a little plfeustrating at times how much the characters talked about what they were going to do next and went back and forth for pages…
It was definitely sexy though. Like damn. Parts of this book were hottttt.
The  end suffered from
the same forced “third act breakup” a lot of romcoms do.
It didn’t exactly seem like something the character would do and honestly felt like a lazy way to create the tension necessary for the last part of the book. There were a few things they could have done instead of that like
brought Jamie’s family back into to cause problems, had Jamie and his shitty roommate have more of a falling out, etc <\spoiler> But over all it was alright. I might read it again in a few years, so it gets three stars!
