This was a nice, cute, easy summer read but unfortunately it wasn’t anything spectacular. 

I wasn’t expecting the entire book to literally just be about this water gun fight game they do every year with their families, while also including a wedding and Meredith falling for a guy she just met on the farm. It was cute as they set up the story and scenes because I would love to be able to vacation with my family like that every summer, but throughout the book I ended up getting so many names mixed up lol. 

Also, Mer and Wit kissed and hooked up pretty early on in the book so I feel like there wasn’t much to look forward to in the storyline. They both seemed nice and fun, but there wasn’t too much depth to the characters. I’m glad Mer finally came to her senses at the end and

decided to stay together with Wit even though it was long distance

I think overall, the book was a little too basic and predictable but I didn’t hate it at least lol
