Black Dog by Levi Pinfold

4.0

Pinfold, L. (2012). Black dog. Somerville, MA: Templar Books.

Summary: Black Dog is a story about handling fears. Each time a Hope family member looks outside and sees this big black dog, they continue to report it as being larger than the person described it before. It was not until the family's smallest member fearlessly brought in the dog that everyone's anxieties were erased. They even enjoyed the dog by the end!

Award: Boston Globe Horn Book Honor Winners 2013 - Picture Book
