Very descriptive read
I saw this book on tiktok and it intrigued me. I enjoyed tomas and carina's story and found the book very descriptive. Sometimes a little too much , especially in the beginning. Once you get into it, you become embroiled in their Relationship or deal as it were. You see how these two people merge and how their pasts haunt them. Only finding solace in each other. As the end of the book neared, I realised I wasn't going to get a conclusion to their hea if they are allowed one in this harsh cartel world but it seems its a duet and I haven't realised. I will continue on to bk 2, but might give it a break, as I found it a little heavy going at times. But that maybe a personal thing and not the book its self.
