Don't read this book. Honestly it was boring, the writing was confused, the plot was honestly stupid. The amount of rape alone makes this book really gross to me, especially because it's added like salt to a pot, just kind of sprinkled in everywhere. The witchy stuff didn't make sense to me either, the worldbuilding was poor.
I was so disappointed because I thought I'd love Jeanette Winterson's writing, but this book really brought it down.
