I wish I loved this more. I think it’s a great concept and Novoa’s writing is really good but the constant reminders of Oliver’s dysphoria is depressing and brings down the mood of the whole novel. I think if he spent more time in the novel as himself and gender euphoric it would’ve been a much more enjoyable and engaging read.
