dark emotional informative sad fast-paced

It's difficult to honestly criticize Marji's actions in Persepolis II, knowing that she's a real person. Though her actions in the first half of the novel were ridiculous, they are, on the whole, forgivable, as she was just a teenager at the time. It was wonderful to see her become herself and push for the freedoms she wanted in her country.
