This book was too fluffy for me: flat characters, meaningless gore, and uncritical "commentary" about pop culture that lacked nuance and originality. the book mostly just shit on influencer culture and the people who participate in it without meaningfully investigating it. The queer relationship was also pretty flat and unexamined.
