Seeing Red
by Sandra Brown
Usually enjoy Sandra Brown's novel and this was no exception. Interesting and intriguing storyline....she always makes well rounded and colourful characters...The premise of the novel has Kerra Baily, a TV journalist on her way to talk with Major Franklin Trapper, a reclusive American hero, who once helped lead some survivors to safety when a bomb goes off at a hotel in Dallas... The Major no longer grants interviews...he has turned Kerra down flat several times but she has done her homework and thinks she has found her way into the interview with the Major's bad-boy son, John Trapper. John Trapper is a both rude, volatile, and a former ATF agent. The only problem is...father and son have had a falling out and no longer speak....one thing leads to another and John does get Kerra the interview with his father....only after the interview things go terribly wrong....which leds Trapper to reinvestigate who actually was resonsible for the bombing of the hotel so many years ago...(I fell in love with John Trapper....great character).
