Lord of Mysteries, Volume 1 by Cuttlefish That Loves Diving
5.0
adventurous funny inspiring mysterious reflective relaxing sad tense slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes

Everything is connected, every plot point is well thought and executed with perfection.

Klein Moretti (Zhou Mingrui) gets dragged into a world where humans can gain celestial powers, mysteries lie deep and knowledge is death.

I love every single aspect of it!! The world building is whole on another level and Klein's intelligence is something else, the way he manipulates and lie his way out of things is just chef's kiss.
The tarot club meetings were my favourite part mostly because I liked seeing Alger just go on and on hyping Mr. Fool, Audrey does that too but what's funny is that Alger is so cautious and already a beyonder who has quite a lot of knowledge, considering how little low level beyonders know about the surrounding mysteries and yet he would go all out praising Mr. Fool🤣🤣

Spoilers ahead
I completely forgot about Incel Z and his quill.

I was devastated and had not recovered from Old Neil's death and then Dunn died 😭😭 (I will never recover from this)

There are still a huge number of things that haven't been explained yet and that's ok, I know that they supposed to have some purpose later on that will tie everything together pretty well but the there is still a question is how og Klein deduced the fact that everyone will die from the notebook?? Despite being one of the major plot devices The Antigonus family notebook is still a mystery but then again it is also tied to the Secret Order and Hornacis Peak, so maybe then??
And as for the purpose of Zhou's Transmigration, his super powers revolving grey fog, Ince's purpose are a part of a bigger scheme and will obviously reveal much later😮‍💨
