My Lady's Choosing: An Interactive Romance Novel
by Larissa Zageris, Kitty Curran
Book #61 of 2021 was My Lady’s Choosing! This book is wild haha, it’s an interactive novel. Basically, “you” are a 19th century lady, and throughout the book, you are given choices as to how you want the story to go. Some of the love interests include a rugged Scottish captain, a brooding single father, a baronet of the ton, and an adventuring countess. This book is hilarious! It takes the best of romance novels and makes just enough fun of them. I’ve read through many of the paths so far (and even have been mapping them out lol), but I don’t think I’ve found every possible ending yet. Each path takes about 45 minutes to an hour to read so I’ve been able to find a lot of different paths. I love that I can come back to this whenever I want to spend an hour on a cheesy romance path. If you are into romance novels and need a good laugh, I’d definitely check this book out!
