The concept of this book is phenomenal. A YA heist challenge with a bit of mystery with an incredibly diverse crew who's backgrounds are integral to the plot, feelings getting involved, a strong and clever FMC, and cool challenges, this book was set up for success.
Unfortunately, some parts fell a little flat. It took a little bit to get into, I felt like we were told a lot instead of the author telling us what was going on so when earth shattering development happened it didn't have the punch it should have had, and while most of the side characters were really great, I felt like they could have been developed a bit more. Overall, a mostly fun read I just wish it gave us more.
I can see this being adapted into a really great movie though.
