A cute quick read following A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue when I wasn’t ready for Monty and Percy’s story to end. I was glad to have a little more of their story together, and the premise of the book made me think there might be a little more spice than there was. I don’t regret reading it, but the mental turmoil over their first time honestly felt less like two actual men in love, and more like two men as imagined by a woman. Overall, it made the story a bit unbelievable and as if these weren’t quite the same characters we met in A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue.
