Pencil loves to draw and loves to be the boss. He does not appreciate eraser coming in and making changes to his work, even when it might make the picture better. After pencil makes a mistake and needs eraser's help to fix it, he admits that eraser's not so bad and the two can work together. There are lots of books about pencils and erasers out there, but this one stands out for the creative use of an eraser to change and enhance pictures. It might encourage kids to experiment with the art they can make by erasing instead of just drawing.
