Where the World Ends by Geraldine McCaughrean

3.0

I have read two books by Geraldine McCaughrean. Three other is about a teenage girl, stranded in Antarctica with her uncle who is losing his mind. This one is about a group of boys and three men in the 1700s stranded on a rock in the ocean off of Scotland for months. I don't know why McCaughrean finds the most isolated settings and stories possible, but I don't know that I'll read another one. This was beautiful, but bleak and sad and and a stressful read.
