Delirium by Lauren Oliver

5.0

I absolutely adored this book and the whole Delirium series.
Lauren Oliver did her job excellent. The way she describes the world, the rules, people, relationship. I can't help admiring it so much. I am so grateful for this book.
It doesn't seem like the books I've read. It is unique.
What I loved the most:
² The plot! It was incredible and new and interesting and so excellent. You read and get acquainted with people, who are living in a country where love is a disease.
² The characters. Oh God, I admire all of them in this book. ALL. OF. THEM. The way they are described, the way Lena sees them, the way she is developing as a person.
² The beginning of chapters. It gave personally me a clearer view on things which are going on in Portland and in all big cities of the USA. Especially I admired a verse about werewolves, vampires and invalids. And there were quotes which helped to understand the policy of the government and the believes of citizens, who were cured.
² The describing and the way of writing. Gray ocean, free like a bird, autumn leaves, the Wilds, truth and lies, hate and love, panics, parties, raids. It is such a pleasure to read. It is described so colorful and brightly, emotionally and i can't stay indifferent.
² You never know what to expect. I was reading and didn't know what should i expect from Lena or any of the characters in the book. I like such kind of books.

I loved this book. And i loved Alex very much too.
This book is great. Personally i enjoyed it very much. Every chapter, sentence, quote, phrase, word. It was combined so right. Lauren Oliver is definitely a great author. Thank you for this love, for this love story we can share with others.
"I love you. Remember. They cannot take it."
