Nexus: A Brief History of Information Networks from the Stone Age to AI
by Yuval Noah Harari
informative
reflective
tense
medium-paced
Another easy to understand book about the way modern society works, or rather will work. By viewing human systems as the flow of information, the author analyses different political beliefs and regimes, and how technology affected them, in order to offer some possible futures in the dawn of AI. Spoilers: it's very scary (and a tiny bit hopeful).
