This book has its impacted officially imprinted on my soul, and that is saying something coming from a person who doesn’t care to read about sports as a central point in books. Lucky for this book, it is much more than a book about hockey, hockey is a symbol for a community, love, empathy, and morality. Which, as a deeply emotional human being, I appreciated reading depicted in such an intricate way! Plus, the manner in which this book talks about *spoiler warning!!* SA is done in greatly emphatic way, it made me feel so much and also allowed me to examine my own moral justifications, which if any book can pull that out of a reader, it has done its job as a piece of literature, in my opinion. Please read this book if you have the mental capacity to read about dark, yet profoundly hopefully topics being portrayed by characters who are so humanizing.💕 5/5⭐️! I’m so thankful I reread this book now that I am in a different place mentally and physically in my own life! (:
