Loved this book—was hooked from page one. It ends up in truly unexpected places. I probably wouldn’t read a book that began in the world this book ended in, but the character development in the first half got me so invested I would have followed the characters just about anywhere. There were a couple of threads that got a little hokey & distracting for me, but not enough to put this book down for even a moment. Overall 4.5 stars!
