+ Extremely informative historical facts. I've learned things about my own country's civil war that school didn't dare teach me. It inspired me to open up the dusty history books on my dad's bookshelf.
-Extremely unrealistic. You mean to tell me the heroine saw family and friends being murdered or being starved to death, killed people, got brutally tortured, and then went to live happily ever after with no psychological or physiological damage? Humans don't work like that.
