This book was such a page turner! I always know I love a book when I can finish it in a few sittings. This was one of those books. I really enjoyed all the characters and could really picture the setting described. I think I preferred the modern day setting and mystery to the past, but both were highly enjoyable. I loved the dark content of poisoning and murder, which wasn’t a big surprise. Great all around debut novel!
