Started out great, but developed in a way that just went off the rails. I can’t put my finger on it, but multiple books in this series have this underlying conservative ideology where so-called strong women act out of character and end up in highly traditional relationships, acting in ways they have expressly said they didn’t want to. I really want to like this series, but these moments come across as preachy and unfitting with how the stories and characters begin. Teddy & Sara’s book was the only one that broke this pattern.
