Sapphic witches?!! Who wouldn’t love that!!

In all seriousness though, These Witches Don’t Burn is a powerful debut novel, that seriously spoke to me, shocked me with its twists and turns, and seriously made me VERY happy.

I picked it up because I wanted a lighthearted, easy read. It wasn’t very lighthearted, but it was a very quick (I finished this in about 3 & a half hours, in one sitting)  poignant, and kept me on my toes.

This book had so many twist and turns. I could tell who the ominous villain was about a third or so into the book, but it still completely shocked me. I started crying near the end, and was honestly still reeling towards the end.

It was a mix of All Our Hidden Gifts and A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder (two all time favourite reads of mine) and I simply couldn’t put it down. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ very well deserved stars
