Riptide by Paul S. Kemp

2.0

Paul Kemp tries harder to have a story and characters this time around, but it still doesn't really work. Just like usual with a Kemp story, people die too quickly for the reader to get to know them. These are apparently marketed as horror novels...are you kidding me? Even Death Troopers is better than this. What a mess of contrivances that makes up the narrative...the theme about identity and biology is about the only good thing about the book, but it's just dumped into the last chapter. Paul Kemp sucks.
