Romeo and Juliet
by William Shakespeare
To quote my classmate, Romeo is “a melodramatic puddle of a person”. I wholeheartedly agree with this statement because emo-Romeo was my least favorite character in this play. I also hate every adult in this play. I thought the Friar and Capulet were the best characters, but Lo and behold I hated them at the end. The writing itself was very well done but I disliked every character except for Mercutio and Benvolio. In summary, Shakespeare is better at sentence structure and conveying emotion through words than creating good characters.
