The Dreaming Jewels by Theodore Sturgeon
4.0
(4/5★)
After reading Sturgeon's More Than Human, I was shocked that it was written in the 50's - for the sci-fi genre, it was so ahead of it's time. The Dreaming Jewels, as his debut novel, may not be as polished, but was still a fantastic read with similar qualities to More Than Human. Sturgeon is fantastic at making unique, memorable characters and putting them into a fantasy setting that feels real at the same time.
