This book was really weird. I couldn't follow it at times. I have to admit that the cover art drew me in. But this time judging a book by its cover didn't work out too well. I also read this book before I read The lord of the Flies. Apparently this book was a retelling or based on The Lord of the Flies. After I read both I did see the similarities. But I really did not like The Lord of the Flies and so I guess that's why I wasn't too excited about this book. I recommend this for anyone who actually liked the Lord of the Flies.
