Momofuku Milk Bar by Christina Tosi

3.0

What I love about this cookbook is Christina Tosi's narrative voice (it's warm, familiar, friendly, and "real") and how she takes time to explain her choice of ingredients. It was educational, informative, and thoughtful. What I didn't like was the lack of graphics. When I peruse a cookbook, what I'm looking for is mostly drool-worthy pics. I want to see the food--crusty breads, gorgeous noodz, colorful deserts! And a Milk Bar cookbook ought to have all the colors, right?! Such a missed opportunity. But at least I can make my own cereal milk everything because I'm obsessed.
