I was nervous going into this, because I don't usually do books with parents and kids who are characters in the book. I didn't mind Ruby though. I as a little disappointed at how I wasn't really invested in the story. I found myself skimming a lot just because I was ready for it to be over. The spicy scenes were really good though.
It annoyed me that everyone just assumed Delilah didn't really care but never actually tried to talk to her about it. I didn't exactly have any sympathy for Astrid, even though it feels like that's what the author was trying to push.
