The Dazzling Heights by Katharine McGee

4.0

This installment in the "Thousandth Floor" series was just as exciting as the first one! We are introduced to a new character, Calliope, who is a very interesting mix to the series of main characters! We catch up on Leda, Watt, Rylin, and Avery... after the life changing "accident". No, nothing really happened within this book... but Katharine Mcgee's novels are very character/romantic based! So this specific book is the continuation of the romances that were introduced in the first book!

The details included in the setting were as interesting as ever! I love hearing about Mcgee's ideas of what New York will be like in the future. Everything is so well thought out... and it is tailored to the younger ideas of life (Such as makeup, drugs, social media, and popularity).

One thing I wish was touched on more was Eris! She was such a sweet person... but then she was barely talked about/grieved during this book! Yes she was mentioned a lot, but it was only in referring to protecting secrets. Never really about her as a person!

I am excited to complete this series! The overall experience so far has been great!
