Storm by Nina Levine

4.0

I was pleasantly surprised that STORM was set in Australia in both Brisbane and Coffs Harbour. Both locations I know reasonably well, it really gave me a clear picture of the characters everyday life. Madison is the daughter of the President of Storm Motorcycle Club, she also hiding from her parents, her family, her ex and the rest of the club. She’s haunted by her past, the things her family have been done, the things that have been done to her and the things she’s done to herself. The new life she’s created for herself is good, but simple, she has new friends and a new job and the last thing she wants to do is see her ex or go home. But when a dangerous ex-boyfriend starts making threats, Madison is dragged home by her ex J., practically kicking and screaming.
Back home every time is still the same as when she left over three years ago, her father’s still an ass, J is still bossy and confusing and everyone is still keeping secrets it infuriates her that her family won’t let her know what’s going on. Jason still the same, hot, sinful, and infuriating. But she still loves him. Things start becoming explosive, first one of her best friend is killed, then she gets kidnapped, then she again gets threatened, with her life falling apart the only person Madison has to turn to is J. I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved Madison she was smart, stubborn, funny and strong. and J.’s sinfully hot, bossy and an absolute badass.
