I really enjoyed this story - it was very entertaining. As I did with Frankenstein, I did not find it entirely spooky or scary at any time but quite engaging. There were some parts which were quite funny, especially ones with Madame Giry in it. The epilogue wrapped things up nicely.

I found the style easy to absorb especially with the narrator being present and switching his narration for the Persian’s towards the end was quite smooth.
