I just love this series so much and am so glad that I happened to come across this series from the first book. The first book blew me away and I was nervous that I wouldn't like the second book as much, but I freaking loved it!
Our FMC, Aurora, was sent away in hiding to live in a convent for 15 years. 15 years! After it's safe, she decides to return home however she is immediately put into an arranged marriage that will help solidify her family's place in the world of mafia. Her betrothed is Rosen, the family best friend and bodyguard tasked to keep Aurora safe.
The story is a little slower paced compared to the first book, but I was completely enraptured and just sucked in. Aurora is feisty and full of sass. Rosen stole my heart. I wanted him to wrap me up in his arms and just melt into him.
