Blue Sisters by Coco Mellors
2.0
hate to be the one, but this book just did not do it for me. it fell so flat, and I had such high hopes. after seeing so many great reviews, I really wanted to enjoy this one. and I got as far as reading majority of it but I just couldn’t make it through the last 10% of this book.
what I did like where the characters. you get to know the Blue sisters so well throughout the book because there were multiple povs, which I did enjoy. their individual characters were so strong and have been through so much.
now what I didn’t like - the book was SOOO slow. the entire book was very drawn out, and I really wish there was something deeper. even though the characters were so strong and had so much trauma, history and present trials, the book still felt flat.
